About

Growers on known ground

Harvest Group is a produce grower group working across orchards, glasshouses, and field vegetable operations. We grow, pack, and ship to wholesale and foodservice customers, and we work with a network of independent growers under a shared quality system.

How the group started

Harvest Group began in 2009 with a single twelve-acre orchard in Valley County, supplying local wholesale markets. Over the next decade the group added a packhouse, a protected-cropping site at East Ridge, and a field vegetable block in the south. Each step was funded from trading, not from outside investment.

The group now coordinates growing, grading, cold storage, and refrigerated transport from a small number of owned sites. A partner programme brings independent growers into the same quality and traceability system, so customers see one standard across multiple farms and regions.

Day-to-day work is still led by growers. Crop walks, packhouse shifts, and dispatch are run by people who live within a short drive of the land. The group's role is to hold the standard, coordinate the logistics, and keep the records straight.
